So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Lakes around Hua Hin to sail in

Post by gerryha »

Recently bought a small flat bottomed Boat and 5 hp outboard. Any suggestions for pleasant places to spend a day in it locally? Cheers

I've seen a lot of small boats on the lake at Kaeng Krachan. Also, it looks nice at Pranburi Dam, but didn't see much activity on the water when we were there.

I got a little lost yesterday and ended up here Google maps 13.187492, 99.664548.

What a lovely place, I'm not a boatist but I could easily see myself cruising the lakes here with a cold crate of beer.

I wish I'd had a camera. with the sun beginning to set, it was absolutely stunning.
