Pattani bombs

Post by dtaai-maai »

A very good Thai friend of ours and her husband were badly injured by a roadside bomb in Pattani early this morning. She is visiting her husband who is a musician working down there. Another musician in a car in front was killed.

I mention this only to reinforce advice to stay away from the area.
This is the way

I'm guessing this is the story DTM. If not let me know and I'll delete.

Sorry to read of this DM, I think it's three provences down south that has this cross border separatism.

Three years ago our good friend and neighbour was ambushed in Pattani whils driving his truck him and the co driver were hit with gun fire the truck run off the road and down an embankment the motive wasn't robbery as the cargo of brand new motor bikes was untouched.
I won't ever forget this as we had a beer with him in our village a couple of days before and the loaded truck was parked up outside his house for the weekend.
