Where to stay in Hua Hin town.

Post by Rob c »

Hello,

Has anyone any ideas of a good place to stay in Hua Hin town? My 7 month old son, Thai wife & me are heading to Hua Hin at the end of June.

My Mrs has to be within spitting distance of the street food (som Tam surprise surprise), I want to be near to the bars (world cup etc).

Ideally would like a big room or suite with a balcony overlooking the sea. Even if it's looking over the top of other buildings I don't care. It has to be somewhere where you wouldn't mind spending time in the room. Because of the baby, it's not going to be my usual type of holiday  :P .

The Thipurai looks pretty good, I believe some rooms have a sea view, although the reviews I've read say the rooms are tiny, anyone stayed there?

I want to spend as little as possible :D but will go up to around 2500 baht.

Anybody got any ideas??

Cheers

Rob

Hi and welcome to Hua Hin Rob.

Try some of the links on this board, read some of the earlier posts, and make your choice.

Try the interactive map and see some of the locations.

Thanks for your reply Norseman, yep there's plenty to be looking at.

Perhaps I'll contact some of the hotels myself to find out if they have a good view. After all Mam's got to have something to look at when I'm out on the beer! :D

Roll on 28th June, Sang Som etc. here we come!

PP Villa is pretty good. Centre of town and close to Bars. Big rooms with balcony and big Swimming Pool. Rate around B1500 per night.

Any idea if P P Villa has a website? I've done a search but can't find anything?

There are over 200 accommodation options in town, not sure what the obsession with PP Villa is on this board.

They don't have a website, and don't want one either, the funny thing is that HHAD crops up when you search Google for them.

Here is a list of hotels, accommodation options and guesthouses:
