Visa on arrival return by land 15 or 30 days?

Post by dtaai-maai »

A friend is visiting. He was given the 30 day 'visa on arrival.
If he goes to Malaysia by train and returns by train, does he now get 15 days or 30 days when he re-renters Thailand?

A friend did it last week, and says it is 30 days for persons from G7 countries. He's Welsh, but still got the 30 :D

As an add on, the visa exempt 30 day stamps can now be extended for a further 30 days (used to only be 7 days) for the usual 1,900 THB.

I would have thought so. Any 30 day entry should be extendable.
