House Insurance

Post by poisoner »

Hi
I've searched the forums & whilst the answer may be there, I couldn't find it!
I'm looking for advice & prices of house insurance (building & contents?) in HH.
Our house is finished & we've just had burglar bars fitted & most of the furniture is in.
I'm back out in a couple of weeks time to put the blinds up etc & would like to secure our investment with insurance.
If anyone could point me in the right direction on this it would be much appreciated Image
I've also been advised by a Thai friend to get my 'Tabian Baan' or house book. Not too sure what this is, does anyone else have one?!

I think the Observer Group offers insurance through Aviva. Give them a try.

Some of the banks offers house insurance as well.
At least I bought it in the Bank of Ayudhya.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

We have used the people at the Observor to arrange our insurance with Aviva for the last few years. The wording of the policy is not too bad. The service has been good also.

Has this service included making any claims?

If so how was the process?

I see this topic hasn,t been alive for some years, but still very relevant. I have a house of about 100 sqmeter and normal standards both house and furniture. I got an insurance in SCB, and I pay about 11000 bath a year and feel this is expencive.
Am I right?

I believe Matt is a sponsor here (though I just looked and couldn't find his ad). He sells life, health, travel, house, (and probably auto) insurance and I've found him very straight forward and honest in his business.

pm me for his email address.

Edit: found it... here's the link...

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
