Photo Frames
I'm looking to get 50 (Fifty) A4 size photo frames. These will be used to frame some of the thousands of photos that I have of the fish at the Lodge.
Anyone know of a good framing shop that would do a bulk job and not cost the earth..?????

I guess that IKEA in BKK sell frames that are easy to use and cheap. At least they do in Sweden.

Re: Photo Frames
As you're in Bangkok a lot of the time, isn't there a central wholesaler that you could get them from, cutting out the middle man as I did with the kids clothes back in January?

Thanks folks............

I suspected as much myself reading between the lines..... But then again, being Welsh I'm very astute at this type of thing.Terry wrote:You don't like them then?

Re: Photo Frames
Dropped in to IKEA on the way up to BKK yesterday.
Got myself 50 x A4 frames at THB 99 each.
Not luxury quality but they will do the job for me.
So - now I know what I'll be doing this weekend...............

I haven't try Ikea in Thailand, but it looks like the system is the same all ower the world and as most employers in thai supermarkets and other big shopping stores they really don't know so much about anything and prefer hang around with a phone or jabbing with a college and you can't find one ho speak just a little english so I try to avoid them if possibleNereus wrote:Terry wrote:Funny enough, I had thought of IKEA.

Most item in Ikea is has a place on a shelf in the warehouse, and if you use a little time preparing before you go to Ikea you can find the number were you can go and pick it up, go and pay, and you don't have to speak to anyone at all.
Offcourse you need a computer and internet, and there is a guide how to shop and order their homepage, easy but agree shopping in some of these shops here can be a challenge if you need some help.

Re: Photo Frames
Fortunately I had looked at the catalogue, knew what I wanted, found them and was done in 15 minutes flat. I would have been out of there at that point but I decided to stop for a plate of meatballs........my third attempt at these and STILL served almost cold...........It may be IKEA as we know and love it, but it is still T.I.T.

BTW in DK it looks like families make a day out in weekends with all generation around measure looking in catalogue

would never ever go there if I did'nt have a little idea of what I was looking for.
