Can't you have them sent to someone in the States and then get that person to send them to you in plain packaging? If you did it that way I doubt very much you would be charged any tax here because the package would simply be delivered to your home by the mail man. I've received several packages containing different things and I've never had any bother at all.
Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact
^ Just as a question - are "Sniffer Dogs" used in Thailand? They certainly are in China, and it was always a problem when bringing in foodstuff etc. from the UK. As the devious smuggler I am however, I resorted to vacuum packing the odd lb of meat and brought it through customs without fail.
The dogs were also often used with packages through normal post or couriers such as DHL etc. , so always an issue.

I'm the worst of the worst.... a reformed smoker!! When I did smoke however, I used to love the odd "King Edward" cigar - great taste, great smell and bl**dy cheap in the States!
Even when smoking however, I never partook in a restaurant or Bar..... Bad form or wot!

I had a couple of friends there that smoked premium cigars. They mostly bought Cubans there in Hua Hin and the higher end ones could run them 2k to 4k baht apiece. That pricing is due to very high import duty on tobacco so if sent in a manner that was recognizable you would surly pay double or more because of the tax.
As someone suggested above and in my own experience, the only way to beat the tax is to have someone package something like that in a nondescript box or wrapper and send via normal mail or "post". If sent by a carrier like Fedex, you will have to pay duty as Fedex participates in a program to help the Thai government catch you on dutiable items... so, you would need to have them sent to a friend or family member in the U.S., probably repackaged (ziplock bag, brown padded envelope?) and sent regular mail from them to you. That method was the most successful for me on anything dutiable.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Thanks all! That is kind of what I figured, and already warned my son about it!
For the record I smoke my cigar at my house, or in a large airy park, so I don't bother anyone. Broken my nose 3 times so morning smoke from cigars or cigarettes totally blocks it until my nose clears around noon so am very aware not to bother other people.
Never smoked cigarettes, but an occasional cigar I find relaxing. Once lit you know you have 45-75 minutes so I can relax

My friends gave me one to smoke at a party and they go pretty well with a good single malt for real relaxation.

A friend of mine lives in Issan and uses www.cigars-now.com and international cigar express. He said he has never had to pay any custom taxes from either place.
Sorry, slightly off topic, but as you will be aware, as moderators we should read everything, including any links. Out of curiosity, on the page you've listed, what do the strange numbers mean please? e.g. 5 x 54, 5 x 50, 7 1/2 x 52 etc.
