"The question is, why can't the army disclose details of the spending to the public who are the major donors? Don't those donors have the right to know how their money has been spent?"

This obviously explains the Army and Police roadblock being set up this morning as I was on my way to the Vet Hospital.

The 10 percent middle mans commission snouts in the trough more like, greedy little piggies.

Looks like the men in green have been caught out on this one to a large degree plus a poor attempt of a whitewash too. Opaque institutions and murky water surrounds this construction project and I bet it's 'par-for-the-course' for most big construction projects here too.....just been busted on this one. The metal casting companies would never have been allowed anywhere near this contract without a kickback here or there....too much troughing to be done.
It is not lost on me that the irony is so thick that they have been caught out so publicly on this particular attraction considering the theme.

Who says fate hasn't got a sense of humour?
