Just seen this from the BBC news dated 7th April - madness!!!
Frozen fell walkers had suitcases
Fell rescue teams in Cumbria were astonished to find a group of walkers from Thailand wearing cotton clothing and carrying suitcases - in a blizzard.
The party of 10 were on Angle Tarn, near Borrowdale, when some began to suffer symptoms of hypothermia.
A helicopter joined Langdale Ambleside mountain volunteers and a passing party of school children in the rescue.
Rescue team deputy leader Keith Morgan urged visitors to the fells to take precautions before venturing out.
Mr Morgan said the Thai party were walking over the fells wearing cotton trousers, t-shirts, tracksuit tops and thin slip-on shoes.
They were also carrying wheeled suitcases and holdalls.
Two of them were treated for serious hypothermia.
