Mosquito Screens ...

Post by Burger »

Does anyone know a company in Hua Hin or surrounding areas that supplies the 'roller blind' or 'magnetic seal' type mosquito screens, ie: not the standard aluminium ones that is normally used ?
I know a company in Bangkok, but need one closer to Hua Hin.

Thanks in advance,

Burger

We had screens fitted to our house, so I am assuming that the firm in question is local to Hua Hin, brown plastic frames with black netting that are closed with a small lever top and bottom, not sure if they offer different colour schemes, but if this sounds like the type you mean, I could contact our builders and get a telephone number for you.

Another angle on the mosquito problem. We do not have mosquito screens on any of our windows and rarely ever get any mosquitoes in the house, provided that we close all the windows and doors just before dusk. We have air con in each room for the night time and the fans are blowing much of the time during the day if we are in. That seems to keep them away.

I agree with the above. We do that and do not seem to have a problem either.
