Hua Hin isn't that good place to purchase silk. If you have time, go to Bangkok and their for example to Amarin Plaza. Silk can be found in Hua Hin at least in the Silk Village along Naebkhehaet Road but it's quite expensive there. As for the shipping costs, I'll have to let somebody else answer to that.

Hi Angie, we bought 2 lots of silk in Bangkok from a shop on Silom rd. Very good selection and reasonable price, after a bit of juggling we managed to put it into the luggage to take it home. It took us over the weight allowance but they are very liberal with that in Bangkok. If it is any good to you the shop is opposite patpong 2 over Silom rd. doesn't look much from outside but very helpful.
