I have always found you are safer on the bigger bikes as you are not wobbling around in the little bike lane but are moving with the flow of traffic. Saying that it also depends on if you are a biker. If your biking is only when on holiday then stick to a small twist and go and dont forget the helmet. If you are going to rent one for more than a week buy a decent one for the price of a few beers and not the stupid ones that they give you when you hire one. Even better advice would be to go through somewhere like DR Daves not some back st cowboy. I've ridden the length of Thailand and have felt safer here than riding to work everyday when in London, now thats danger. Dunc
