From the Nation:
Residents of Prachuap, Chum Phon, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani are warned of heavy rains when Durian depression is expected to hit southern coast this afternoon.
The Meteorological Department announced Wednesday that the influence of the depression would cause heavy rains in the four southern provinces Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The department said the depression with speed of 50 kilometres per hour at its epicentre was about 50 kilometres from the east side of Samui Island and was moving westward.
Somchai Ramasut, chief of civil disaster mitigation office in Surat Thani, said local officials had been put on standby on around-the-clock-basis for fear that the heavy rains would cause disaster or landslide.

From Bangkok Post's Breaking News Website.....
(TNA) -Depression Durian, a storm with wind speeds of 50 kilometres per hour, crossed the southern isthmus and entered the Andaman sea heading away from Thailand this morning.
Gulf of Thailand seas have returned to normal. There are no unusually high waves, and rainfall has decreased in the southern provinces.
Heavy rains hit Chumphon, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Surat Thani, and Ranong after Durian made landfall Wednesday afternoon.
Surat Thani governor Niwat Sawatkaew said no residents or tourists were injured by the storm.
The weather service cancelled its earlier storm warnings, and fishing trawlers and tourist shuttle boats resumed operations as usual.
In Chumphon, the situation had returned to normal this afternoon, but there is still unseasonal rainfall in some areas. In Prachuap Khiri Khan, the overnight rain triggered flash flooding in Bang Saphan district.
Some houses and farmland have been under water. Officials have worked to extend waterways to release floods to the sea.
Meanwhile, in the northern provinces, temperatures dropped by one to two degrees Celsius with the lowest temperature at 15 degrees Celsius.

For metrology data from Thailand, this Government site is pretty comprehensive, you can get screen shots from the precipitation radar in Hua Hin and satellite photos, although they are usually a couple of hours old;http://www.weather.go.th/en/index.php
