Western Seaboard Nertworking Night

Post by Tatlock »

Hi Everyone,

New to the forum but not new to Hua Hin been around since 2003. I commute every week to Bangkok cos that's where the main business is but I recently started the Western Seaboard Networking Club in Hua Hin. We hold events in the bars and restaurants every quarter at the moment, monthly when we get a stronger following.
I network with a lot of clubs in Bangkok and Phuket and I always bring a crowd from each to Hua Hin just for a drink maybe some food but mainly a chance for you all to meet new business people.
I now do a membership card entitling you to discounts off many bars and hotels in the area and have now joined up with moby elite here in Bangkok so we can all access thier networks.
Next event is at Crawfords pub 9th Feb 1830 you need to register though, on moby elite hope to meet you there

Alan p.s
I also have Thailands largest business database on bangkok contacts

Hi Alan,

Just come across details of your club and i see that the next meeting is in about a weeks time, I would be very interested in attending.

You mention that you need to be a member first but there does not appear to be any details on how you go about this, prehaps you could write back to me to let me know or better still would you like to meet up for a beer before hand to tell me?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Dartmoor

We are a non for profit organisation who are organising these events to tap into the business market to help local charities.
Remembering that nobody gets anywhere by touting.
Natural selling is all about how you can help others first and when they see you as a benefit, then they become the benafactor, of people who need our help.
Philanthropy is all well and good but you have to subscribe to the two fundamental rules of business Fear and Greed.
So yes we are about business but the true roots of the WSNA are Charity.
so I did look at the rules but I did not see how much of it applied.
Ok I cheated a bit with a few dot coms here and there but it really is for a good cause, perhaps even one of of those dogs that are so nice during the day but terrorise us at night can use our help one day.....

Tatlock,

My work outside of HHAD has nothing to do with my moderating on here, so please do not try to make that an issue. If I were being very strict & "by the rules", I would have edited your posts. I didn't. I simply asked you to bear in mind the T&Cs. If you have any further comments or questions, please pm myself, another mod or Lev (admin), as discussing moderation issues on the public forum is against T&Cs. Thank you.
