Hopping Mad!

Post by Winkie »

I've more money than I actaully need!

Strange stement, but I think for most of us on this forum it is true.

I have more money than I actually really ned for daily survival.

I'm 41 yrs old, and as far as I can remeber, I have never left the house with 2 shoes, and inadvertantly returned with only 1!

How many Thai people (do we have an statisticians out there that can put a figure to this?) lose 1 shoe everyday?

How does it work?

Next time you go for a walk, or a drive, count them. I counted 14 in about 10 mins on Sunday!

'Oh, thats strange! I thought I had 2 on when I left earlier! Now where's that other one gone! It was there the last time I looked!'

:lach: I think it's a motorbike thing. I've lost flip-flops riding pilon on MC taxis and had him turn around to get it. Perhaps some Thai's don't bother if they're old, just go where you're going with one, or throw the other one away also.

We've also arrive back at our car from shopping, carrying our little daughter to find that she only has one shoe remaining. The other fallen off in the maze of shops somewhere. Pete

Whilst on the subject of washing machines. I seemed to have used in five years a good many laundries in HH however they seam to keep losing things including six pairs of original Levis.

Am I the victim of bad luck or is this a general occurence to everyone else.
