And you're losing your head.
Why do you have to give us the obvious? It's a terrible thing, but are you going to change anything?
Never mind, a fire in a kitchen. "Brothers" around.
A bit of bride burning.
There you go, Brits.

A shame that some people were found guilty of killing someone, isn't it?
A sister, a cousin, a wife, a person.
The fact is that some people think that they've got the right to kill.
Dreadful.
Death in the winderless.

Sadly this girl was killed by her own family..I believe they were kurds living in England..It is sad that this has happened but it has nothing to do with British society..it has to do with religion and Kurdish culture..the same thing happens in India and Pakistan.. in Africa they castrate young girls so as not to enjoy sex..that is their way...

I would suggest the original poster takes time out to research the facts before making such ridiculous posts...the world is a magical place..but it is also full of religous nutters...

Losing grip would have been not finding them guilty, and letting them get away with it. Somebody has committed a crime, been caught, found guilty and sentenced - what part of the process has gone wrong please?

If its somebody killing somebody else, then that happens all over the world every day.

Grab a clue

Well its the difference between having a common law whore for a wife and getting stoned in public for being a whore.

Never the twain shall meet I'm afraid.

I'm just the messenger here, all I did was was bring it up for discussion.

I'm Ok to drop it.

But in fairness to the OP, this isn't a one-off. We've shamefully ignored this and suicides linked to "family honour" for years - don't want to cause a fuss, see. And its not a kurdish thing, its mainly, but not only, yep, you've guessed it, a muslim thing. Thankfully, the ladies themselves have got organised and put pressure on the authorities to treat this seriously, which it now is, which is why this is just another in a number of similar prosecutions. But if the family had their way, she'd have probably ended up marrying someone she'd never met, just as likely from abroad as in the UK.

Don't know why it's been picked up on here though?

No, its good there is a response, to stem the tide.

Looks to me like the ladies want to join your society but their men don't want them to. I say tough, let them wander an stray as they may.

Have you ever seen one? A stoning? In outlying areas of Pakistan or Afghanistan?
It's not very pretty.
So a whore is a woman who looks at another man? I tell you, I can't countenence it.
Don't know where you're from, Da. The one thing is that I certainly don't want to be there.

No way!

It's not very pretty.

I imagine its not, Have You?

But it sounds like this sort of thing is taking place in Muslim enclaves of the good ole GB. Yes? no? maybe?

What legal system are we operating under here in the UK?

Is it Common Law where its legal to have a whore for wife or is it Sharia Law where it acceptable to kill a women for being a whore?

I hope you guys can assimilate them into your system rather than the other way around.

Unfortunately, I have seen a stoning.
The thing is that the "men" (all those good old hard men who've been wizzened by thousands of years with their ways of life) are c...ts.
Yes again, I've seen women stoned.
If my Thai wife even looked at another man, I'd behead her. I'd stone her. I have the "law" on my side. Even my family can kill her because it's a slur on our name.
Well, it's murder in the UK and Thailand as well.
So, go forth and multiply all you gits who disrespect women.
There speaketh.

Firstly, this is in foo, although it shouldn´t be. Secondly, the story just shows how week we westerners have become. In most of muslim countries it is forbidden to practise or worship any other religion. In most of the western world our own authorities call us racists if we don´t let everybody do whatever people from other cultures want to do. I think we should all be a bit worried of this trend as eventually it will be bringing down our own culture, although on the other hand, we may well deserve it, as we´ve let it happen. At the same time the eastern cultures are fighting to uphold their own traditional values and habits. In the end who is wrong and who is right?
No need to get upset about this, it´s a bit the same I feel about over hygienics in the western world. The first killer germ will wipe us out because we´ve lost our natural resistance to most germs. Just look at all the different allergies that exist in the western world nowaday.
