Did think about lighting a fag and tossing it down the drain but the I don't want to be responsible for putting HH into orbit!!!!

Sorry, Not a very sensible response after my previous comments :thumb:

Richard, don't know the answer but tonight everybody was asking the same question. Maybe fuel delivered to temple (also crematorium) nearby and some spilled over? Who knows, but definite smell.

Haven't been there, but was it definitely fuel, not a smell like exhaust fumes? Just asking, because the latter often happens when they've been fumigating the drains to kill whatever it is they want to kill (rats? cockroaches?)

Think I will go with your theory Dawn, rather than my 1.56 am one.

They were doing it around that area last week. I hate to think what comes out of the school next to the temple.
We used to pick a bamboo cane up and practise our golf swings, hitting the blighters out of the door - "Fore".
There's not that can be done about them at this time of year - except fumigation and golf lessons.
