Central Hotel and Condo recommendation needed

Post by jonnyt »

Hello guys,

I was looking for a possible hotel recommendation as I shall be travelling down with my (Thai) partner soon, we are both in our early 20s. I will be staying one week to give Hua Hin a once over before renting a condo. For the hotel I am looking for somewhere Central near the action with Internet access. Will pay upto 1500B/night. I will trust any recommendation you guys on here give me.

As I just mentioned I will be there looking for a condo to rent on a month-by-month basis. I have a few websites and phone numbers but perhaps someone has had a good experience with an agent they can recommend? I am looking for a spacious condo with cable, Internet access available in the room (I work on the 'net, I have a Thai visa), good bath facilities, swimming pool & gym. I am looking for something nice, I would be willing to pay upto 20,000B per month for the priviledge.

Obviously it will need for me to go around with an agent and eye places up, but if anyone can set me on the right path that would be much appreciated.

I shall be down in 3 1/2 weeks or so hopefully by then I will be familiarised with you folks here and I can meet you for a beer!

Best,
Jonny

PS can't wait to get to 30 posts to talk about the alternative nightlife, LOL :D

I have decided on either Top Marks Hotel or Thipurai based on reading through the searches here and having a look on the site in regards to my hotel stay.

Which would you recommend for being Central and near to the beach with Internet options? Are there plenty of Condo rental agents in the vicinity?

Thanks
J

Both are central and not too far away from the beaches. Thipurai City is probably more expensive. There's plenty of real estate agents all over the town.
