Paypal scam

Post by derekahall »

Paypal scam
£75 was recently transfered into my paypal account as a donation to HHDRC. When I tried to withdraw this money to my Thai bank account paypal allowed me, then took the funds back and took £10 for admin. They've now locked my account and I can't get to the money that's meant for the charity. If anyone out there knows who I can report paypal to for doing this please e-mail me with the details on derekahall@yahoo.co.uk. They are stealing from a charity. I've written to them many times to tell them this and they haven't responded.

You could send a complaint on my behalf if you want.

Derek,

looks like you are not the only one - this is a bit old now but it might point you in the right direction:

I’ve never had any dealings with paypal, but your story probably explains why this website exists:http://paypalsucks.com/

It seems like they've been stealing money from a hell of a lot of people. I'll never use them again. Thanks for the links. I now know I can use alternatives.
