House for rent in Soi 64 (BARGAIN)

Post by Roel »

Thanks buksida for your permission to post this.

Someone out there interested in taking over our house? No swimming pool, tropical garden or aircon. And we are taking all our furniture with us. But location and rent are superb. It is a one-storey townhouse in a quiet soi. Kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, hot water shower (newly installed when we moved in three months ago), western toilet. Spacious front yard with possiblity to park a car (although my girlfriend prefers to use it for cooking and washing). Located in Soi 64 (Restaurant Hai Piang) opposite Soi 51. 10 minutes walk from the fresh market and HH night life area. 7-11 with ATM around the corner. 5 minutes from the beach.

No key money or commissions involved. Rent is 4,000 Baht/month.
Deposit one month rent plus 1,500 for water/electricity bills that arrive after you moved out.

If interested please call me at XXXXXXXX (English, Deutsch, Nederlands, Thai) or send PM.

Landlady agreed with us trying to find new tenants and will simply change the name on the contract. Landlady is a teacher and speaks good English so no problem if your Thai is basic or non-existent.

We are moving out per April 1st.

Yes, we live in the house right now. Have to move to Krabi due to new job on April 1st.

No ceiling fans, you will need to bring your own.

Rental contract was signed on January 1st 2008 for two years.

You CAN hear the train but you will hardly notice. It will certainly not wake you up.

Roel,

If it is still available when I get back there on 1 May, then I'd be interested to take a look at it. It sounds a bit like a basic shell, from what you are saying - would that be fair? Is the kitchen in and usable? Is there any furniture *at all*, for eg. a bed? curtaining etc.? Can you post when it is no longer available, if it does go in the mean time. I can call you when I get back to LOS on or about 1 May.
