Koh Tao

Post by richard »

My daughter is over from the Uk and staying a week in HH. She wants to almost bag pack it to Koh Tao for a few days before retuning to HH

Any advice about agents who can organise transport and a good SAFE hotel there near the beach?

All contributions gratefully received :D

Already wised her up what to do and not to do when you are a single attractive female traveller in Thailand. But can you tell em?? I always get ' Dad I'm streetwise and manage to live in London' :)

hi richard,

we went with the company linked below, think its the best way
proper air con bus leaves from outside farm shop, takes you to their boat, air con food/drinks. then on way back drops you outside victoria cafe
they got an office in town, coming from police station, turn left towards hilton, then after siam office theres a small road on the left where the 7/11 is, its down there on the right.

great island, great sunsets, great restaurants set up on the sand at night, great bars esp for young people, but wont be that much to do if raining, i would have though
felt as safe as anywhere ive been
