Following on from the topic about house insurance, can i ask what people do about condo insurance? What needs to be covered and how much should be covered by the condo management (in terms of structure etc). Are there any good companies who specialize in this?
Cheers

Condo Insurance
Life's a beach.....
Friends have informed that it is available, and typically excludes what the condo association insurance covers, i.e., damage to the basic structure of the building itself; often windows are also the responsibility of the individual owner. So the individual condo owner is responsible for damages to all but the "shell" unless, of course, the damage to the condo was caused by someone else's negligence, such as the owner above leaving water on, or the owner to the side poking a hole in the common wall (in which case the neighbor might ultimately be responsible).
