taxi prices
hi is it true that taxi prices from hua hin to khao takiab have gone up from 150 baht last year to 250baht this year. many thanks
If it has that's shocking, you can get to Bangkok and halfway back for that!
I know fuel has increased no end but moto taxis around Hua Hin are only charging an additional ten baht or so. Anyone that wants 250 to go to Takiab wants shooting!
A rough guide to prices can be found here:

Figure adding on 10-20 baht to most of those fares with the fuel price increase though.

I think the Moto Sai and Tuk Tuk prices on that guide are way way out Buks.
I personally think the majority of Tuk Tuk drivers in Hua Hin are theiving ******** but the price to Takiab should be 150 baht.
Get a phone number and get them to pick you up wherever you are, this way you dont have to barter everytime you just want a Taxi.
