Who remembers Howard Marks?

He's made a fortune out of his memoirs - "Mr Nice Guy" :

I once went to see Mr Marks at Fairfield Halls in Croydon. His voice was so slurred and slow it was quite painful to listen too. You just wanted to finish off every sentence he began. Too many years smoking doobies me thinks. Fascinating talk though and a cracking good book... :rasta:

my hero

read his reasoning and policy proposal for the limited legalisation of marijuana in the UK.......made more sense than the whole UK and UN DCP policies ever did....he was probably high as a kite when he came up with it.....the govt and UN policy makers weren't....

...you go figure.

He actually applied for the job of so called drugs 'Tsar' during the last Tory Gov.

Sure he would have made a better job than Helliwell who got it
