Hi Ray
After the last post you will probably be happy to hear some scense

Got it done over 20 yrs ago very simple and pretty much painless.
Done under local
Drove to Dr office (not hospital) down pants, on the table, two small injections and small cuts about 2cm long one on each ball bag and remove a piece of spagetti from each side a little piece of plaster over each cut and drove home again.

Any Dr or hgospital should be able to do it.

Blimey, you were blessed Robby :D

Ray, I would always recommend playing safe and using a good Bangkok hospital like Bumrungrad or Samitivej, first class service with affordable prices (some procedures are same price as Sao Paolo in HH.
Although from what Robby says it sounds a simple enough procedure.

I had mine done some years ago in the UK. Being a wimp, I initially elected for a general anaesthetic. "Get a local", my friends said,"You're done in 20 mins and it doesn't hurt at all". I followed their advice only to discover all my friends were bloody liars. Their reasoning was that, they suffered so why shouldn't I!!

Vasectomy

Post by housedoctor »

General Anaesthetic for a Vasectomy is Boll*~ks if you will pardon the pun. A Vasectomy is a very simple and painless proceedure. The emphasis will be on following strict recovery instructions. You will be , or should be, advised to rest with your legs slightly elevated for at least 2 days. No physical activity what so ever for that period of time. No golf, no sex especially. You are at high risk of getting a haematoma(blood swelling) if you do not get absolute rest. If you follow your Doctors advice, happy days. Believe me.

`A condom seems a simple answer to avoid any pain..but if you want "au naturale"..then pain seems to be the answer from all my mates that have had it done..
