yes it seemed strange to mebut they just pushed it back to me "no problem". The old passport has not been stamped canceled.When you apply for a new passport from Thailand you can keep hold of the old one till it returns,though it has been canceled in the system. I will let you all know how...

Yes i did get a re entry permit,but in the old passport.
I showed the the new passport to Hua hin immigration,but they just handed it back to me.
So basically in the new passport i have no details!
