Haven't been on in a while... was browsing just before and then logged in and I lost most of the forums! ???

I bought my guitar from the top floor of the Hua Hin Shopping Mall. 1,900 baht and it's a nice one.

Somtawin kinder classes have aircon, but above that they don't. I Taught there in 2006 and my 8yo daughter (farang) attended the school. Its the only school in HH with an English Programme, but sounds like you can't afford it... Can you teach there? Then the schooling will be free!

My taxi to BKK (airport) in September cost 1,700B. I do know a lady in HH who only pays 1,300 but they wouldn't do it for me for that much!

Also in NZ many maori men get their whole faces tattooed, lots of polynesians get their whole bodies tattooed (the old way, not nice needles like we use), and many maori women get a 'moko', a tattoo that covers their chin. It's a cultural thing.

I have two tattoos that I abhore, and am getting them both removed at the moment (will have to suss laser treatment in BKK, I imagine it's not possible in HH).

I don't mind tattoos, but I just think you have to be so sure about what you get and where you get them.
