Re: St Patrick's day menu in Hua Hin

[/quote] Pretty sure it was the British from where "Corned Beef" originated - salted/cured beef, so a bit of a strange one that "Corned Beef and Cabbage" really is classed as an Irish dish for St Patrick's Day (and by the way, he was Welsh.... :duck: :neener: ). Sorry I'm zero he...

Re: British food items delivered nationally

They've been around a long time now - between Phala Beach and the main road through Ban Chang - remember them from the few months we spent in Phala in 2018/19 just before covid - the quality was always good - used to have good pies as well as far as I remember

Re: Cataract Operation at Hua Hin Hospital

I had lens implant surgery at Rutnin around 12 years ago following extensive tests and consultation. The service, treatment and aftercare was second to none. They even manufactured contact lenses for me to mimic the result that would be achieved following surgery. I wore them for 2 weeks and was ver...

Re: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I suffered very badly from this a few years ago - I work full-time at my computer as a translator and suffered really agonising pain. The solution turned out to be ergonomics. I was using a normal mouse on top of a standard desk. The solution was 2-fold: 1. I bought an upright ergonomic mouse so tha...

The Thailiving Ferry was the one that ran for 1 year back in 2011/2012 and docked at my old marina - there are some sites online that are showing pictures of the "Imagine" catamaran of that time, but with 2024 dates...........

The biggest problem I've had is not being able to use Google Pay when I'm in Spain, for example, apparently because my phone purchased here (Redmi Note 11) doesn't have NFC capability !?
