So now I will have to apply for a visa, complete a TM6 (in the days before travelling) and complete a TM30 (within 24 hours of arrival) next time I visit!

I managed to find the same locks (although better quality) in HomePro and HandymanHuaHin fitted them

Back to getting a visa every year!

When I went to 7 Elevens (Dec-Feb) they wouldn't let me pay by contactless as there is a minimum spend (I can't remember the amount) so I had to pay with cash

Gourmet Market closing tomorrow. Supermarket reopening in June apparently

Gourmet Market is now nearly all closed (maybe 10% left) so I guess the Big C Marche takeover will be soon

i assume it would revert to the previous way of doing things, where you would need to apply (and pay for) for a visa in advance to stay up to 60 days. I don't mind paying but it was lot of hassle

LabPharmacy's new location is on the same floor, about half way along towards Starbucks It wasn't open when I passed yesterday, but the shelves were in place and staff were inside I popped into Bluport today to claim a lottery prize 0 and there was ni0one there - lol! I too noticed the empty spaces....

Walking along the pavement being redone on Phetchkasem Road I see there are multiple ramps by each Soi-side, so could be a lot easier to push a wheelchair/pushchair in the future

Area in front of Gourmet Market has been cleared (I wondered why LabPharmacy was moving), so I guess the new supermarket will be significantly bigger

Does anyone know the significance of the word "Marche' attachment to the end of 'Big C'. Clearly it means market in French, but does it imply it will be different to a run of the mill Big C?

My visitors say the clothes in the basement of Market Village are not such good value. Where are the best places in Hua Hin to buy good value clothes?
