It wont be a problem anymore, it seems that the FA consider booting people in the back as a legitimate tactic if somebody is shielding the ball in the corner.

Ah, but only if the whistle has already gone and they are time-wasting. Actually, I think it would be a great way of stopping the p[roblem and the aftermath should be fun to watch as well! :thumb:

Robbie Keane has gone back to Spurs for 12m plus add ons...
Must say I'm surprised for although he failed to secure a regular place it leaves Liverpool short on attacking options if Torres hamstring goes again.
Thought they would give him to at least the end of the season.

I don't think he gave them until the end of the season!?

 It would certainly liven a few games up.

I think it was the right decision, its unlikely we would have got that sort of money in the summer.

A good player but not the right one for Liverpool.
I doubt him shouting F**k off whenever he got subbed helped.

Bye Bye Keane, dont let the door hit your arse on the way out.

Over the moon Keane and Defoe are back at WHL.
Didn't work out for Keane at Anfield, maybe pressure got to him after bad start there, confidence and all that. Plus with better strikers ahead of him there he got less chances and he can't handle the bench.
At Spurs he'll mostly be in starting line up.

I offer my idea free to any inventor who can come up with rainproof paper to make into football shirts. This would solve the problem of shirt pulling as the culprit would finish up with a handfull of evidence and the victim would be free to carry on unobstructed. Any takers?

If that doesn't work, they could use the same type shirt they use in Aussie Rules. Tank or sleevless T that have a tighter fit. Would probably stop some of it, and make pulling more obvious? Pete

Well as everyone knew, Lamps' red card has been overturned and he's now free to carry on playing (although his form could do with improving).

But yet another cock-up by a referee that cost Chelsea dear. How come Mike Riley isn't going on a vacation himself for what was an incompetent piece of reffing?

He had no right to make the decision he did based on his positioning, which was all wrong. It wasn't possible for him to see the tackle sufficiently clearly to brandish the red card as has been proved. I actually think his reaction to what he perceived of that tackle (it was impossible for him to see) was pre-programmed by other events.

He should be shot. :guns:
