Anyway, my last reading about those a few months ago was that the authorities were cracking down hard on some of the activities and behaviour. Don't know if they have or if so, what that's done to the spirit of the events. Pete

Yes, it looks as if you'll miss the main Songkran water throwing day in Pattaya which falls after the 15th I believe. Most towns have their own schedules. Below are a few other things to do besides bars and clubs. If you're into golf, there are 29 courses in under an hour drive. Pete
There is no ferry service from Pattaya to Hua Hin yet.
It really depends what you want to do. Most things are available in Hua Hin that are available in Pattaya - just in lesser amounts. Most of us on this forum prefer Hua Hin, so any other answer would probably be biased. There are no go-go bars in Hua Hin.
