khungoh, I've moved this question to the Digital Realm Forum where you will find plenty of similar questions and answers.
Some will tell you that best and internet service do not go together in Hua Hin.
You will find more information on the Internet here http://www.expathuahin.com/internet-huahin.php

Hey Buksi
just found out the only service in my area here is TOT, and they have to run a 3 k line from main road for 20K to me! And its not like out in the sticks!
Does this mean I can prohibit anyone else from jumping on the line?
Damn, so costly just to get net service!

Not if it works like the electric company. I had to pay a quarter million to have three poles and a transformer installed to get the necessary electric to my house from 100 meters away. I was told that after 90 days the transformer became public domain (even though I paid for it) and it would be used by anyone else in the area who needed it.Does this mean I can prohibit anyone else from jumping on the line?
Thankfully, that was several years ago and even though there are others on it now it has not been overloaded and we still get all the "juice" I need to run my water pumps, computer, a/c's, beer fridge, and TV.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Re: which is the best internet service in town...???
Attention Internet Users please read the following announcement carefully (This is not an april fools day Joke)
For more than ten years, experts have warned the situation is now arrived - and the even faster than originally expected: The Internet Government "ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) has announced that the last available IP address has been assigned. Needs such a device that is connected to the Internet - whether it is a server, a smart phone or an IP-enabled TVs.
In particular, the demand from China took steps in recent months for a massive increase in registrations, as ICANN president Paul Twomey. That the addresses will go out as fast, but have also the ICANN experts by surprise. Appeals by institutions such as the Federal Network Agency, to return any unused IP addresses as possible met, also to small resonance.
Drastic measures are needed
For a long time there with the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) is a technique that multiplies the number of possible addresses. The consistent implementation but failed repeatedly to conflicts of competence and cost concerns. "Governments such as hardware and software vendors have sabotaged our efforts for a smooth transition over again. Now they must draw the consequences," said Twomey. A similar situation exists in the computer expert Jörg sliding tagesschau.de interview: "Too many have thought: What is that to me? A fatal mistake, as it now turns out."
A day without The Net
The consequences must now pay for Internet users: Tomorrow at midnight Pacific Time (8:00 o'clock GMT or 15:00 Bangkok Time ICANN switches off it's root servers of the Internet in order to switch to the IPv6 protocol. For approximately 24 hours Internet services will be no longer available Worldwide. One wants to use the result of their Easter holidays fall in traffic for the work, "said Twomey. After that downtime all IP addresses are redistributed and computers, which are already equipped with the IPv6 protocol, will be reachable again.
In newer operating system like Windows Vista and 7 and the Macintosh OS 10.6.2 is already implemented IPv6. Users of older systems like Windows XP will remain offline.

The IPv4 vs IPv6
According to the original Internet Protocol IPv4 network addresses all consist of four numbers separated by periods between 0 and 255 So theoretically would be 256 x 256 x 256 x 256 available addresses from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255, which is 4,294,967,296 individual addresses. That they will be forgiven, however, in blocks of various sizes and some areas are reserved for specific purposes, there are actually much less - not enough for the current size of the Internet.
When developing IPv6 are theoretically 2128, ie about 340,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 different addresses possible - more than grains of sand on Earth. Servers, routers and end devices need to be programmed so that they can deal with the IPv6 protocol.
I repeat again This is not an April Fools Joke!!!

Guys The understudy has been april fooled bigtime!!!
I feel kind a embarrased and fooled right now especially by my News Website that I trust but I suppose everybody should be fooled on April 1st April Fools Days
April Fools!!!!
The Internet is full ... so full but not yet
Do not worry, the Internet is already quite full, but it works only once more - at least know where we are. The conversion of the addresses on the IPv6 format is done indeed, but slowly and steadily, many applications and operating systems have already been converted. The Internet must be at least it does not shut down. The editors of tagesschau.de wishes a nice 1st April!
Let's have a Beer and forget about it!

Re: which is the best internet service in town...???
Whew, I wasn't worried when I read that yesterday by Understudy even though I had actually heard that the net was going to run out of IPs and they were working on it... but... when I tried to sign on this morning I could not connect to the internet. I kept trying for an hour and still no connection. I reset my router and still no connection.... I began to believe... and went to the TV knowing this should be all over the news as half of the computer users in the world would be unable to reach the net this morning... nothing on the news.
Finally I turned off my modem, turned off my pc, turned on my modem waited for the normal connection light pattern, and turned on my pc and all is well.
What a coincidence that this happened exactly when the April fools hoax said it would. Had me worried there!

If you use Maxnet/3BB you'll have this problem pretty much everyday anyway.
