The nightcrawlers section of the site leaves a bad taste in my mouth and desire to wipe my feet on the way out, but if people find it useful or fun so be it - it should stay.
As the ex-pat community here rarely gets a chance to meet en masse Id say HHAD repesents a traditional pub table debate type of forum - you find out useful stuff, can ask for advice, and discuss cabbages and kings.
A bunch of fellow HHADers have been PMing me recently complaining how dull conversations outside "who knows where I can get this" threads have become.
