I've just found out that my wife got a classic response from the water board a couple of days ago. Basically, "the pipework repairs are done, but the big hotels in town need the water first, before mere mortals like you".
I suppose that'll always be the case, but to hear it first hand dosn't help matters.
She was given the number of some top brass who claimed he didn't have the time to sort the mess out and whilst the mains were working again, there was an electrical fault at Pranburi that was halting domestic supplies.
Still, we're scraping by and have the number for the fire department who'll fill the tank for free - they did it a couple of months ago. They said they'll deliver tomorrow - Songran, I don't think so - and what's the betting that everything's turned on again then anyway.
