Helicopter Crash

Post by Nereus »

Five perish in helicopter crash.
Bad weather, lack of on-board radar blamed.

I have just returned from that area yesterday, and for the last couple of days there has been heavy downpours of rain and low cloud hanging on the mountains.

Unfortunately, no amount of radar "machines" will stop this type of accident. They have already stated that the pilot was "inexperienced". That, combined with the potential loss of face if he refused to fly, will be found to be the cause of this sad accident. :(
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

Bangkok Post-"I guess the pilot believed the poor weather would end shortly so he decided to fly."
Yes, that's not the best way of going about things in an aircraft without a weather radar.
