I haven't looked yet this morning but as of yesterday afternoon Superbru had not updated the weekend matches yet. Not off to a good start for them. Pete

Just watched Netherlands innings against England. What a complete shambles the English fielding was, they will have to get 6 an over to win.

Pakistan over Kenya by 205 runs. What is 'average' for a run victory....the quantity normally seen approximately? If I can visualize what the median usually is, it will help my learning process. Pete

Difficult one 205 is very high, but you have to take into account the quality of the teams, does the wicket suit one team, which team is in form and the weather. Easy isnt it  :?
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

A good team should get an average of 6 per over (300 runs)

:( All of us were off on the Sri Lanka/Pakistan match. Surprised me as reading some lead up seemed to indicate it was a lock for Sri Lanka. Pete

It's unfortunate Superbru doesn't list it. They did with rugby last year and told the % who picked the winning sides.....or it could have been Sportguru? Pete

I'm sure the Irish enjoyed belting the English. I'll have to go and check the UK headlines for the over reaction of sports writers after their hubris from a successful Ashes campaign.

Just heard police have arrested Anderson, Swann and Bresnan in connection with illegal spot-fixing. Asked why they all bowled underarm, the three said 'it's a damn lie their grannies could bowl better'.

Congrats to the Irish. One for the history books. Maybe England need to rope in Sir Alistair of Cook (does he play the one-dayers?) and get Morgan back.

Morgan is out injured and Cook was omitted because he doesnt score quickly enough in one day cricket !!
But its the bowlers who are the problem....they have been shocking.

Netherlands 292,India 333,Ireland 329 says it all.....England are conceding runs not far off 20/20 standard !

Collingwood not doing it either as a batsmen or bowler.....should have retired from the one dayers as well !

But well played Ireland.....magnificent result !

And the guy who did most of the damage is a real Irishman, not one of your Aussies or Kiwis whose great great grannies uncle came from Ireland.
