I've spent quite a bit of time of late browsing through this forum. Has proven to be a great procrastination tool while I delay doing any actual work. Stumbled across it while looking for Hua Hin info prior to a trip a little while back. Thought it only polite to actually join and introduce myself.
I am Australian (Victorian, Melbournian) happily married to a delightful Thai lady and we have a four year old boy. Many trips to Bangkok and have visited Hua Hin once. My wife loves the place and I tend to agree.
Of late a have pretty much come to despise living in Melbourne and really need a change of scenery. Have lived in Asia before (Singapore and Malaysia) and would love to come back. The marital status would make Thailand the obvious choice. Current financial commitments mean this will probably not happen in the near future, but one can always dream. )Will definitely make sure Hua Hin is on the itinerary next time we are back in Thailand, hopefully with plenty of advice from the crew on this forum.
