JW there are several bars with good pool mainly the ones with American pool tables also many bars have cold beer and nice girls as for the music one if you walk into a bar with a jukebox and you don't like the music you can change it that's what it's there for. All you have to do is stay long enough for your songs to come on, some places have between five thousand and fifteen thousand songs, don't tell that's not enough to find something you like. Your bar is surounded by them. All your place needs is cold beer and hot women two out of four ain't bad.

Hi Shadow,
Thats my point, there is no one bar thats got the 4 outa 4. As far as the cold beer, mine is usually ice cold strange for it not too be, my apologies. As far as girls go, its a real nightmare trying to get hot girls if you dont have a girlfriend to get them in there. Since we opened in October 2002 we have maybe had hotish girls for only 8-10 months. Wish i could solve that problem. (good for everyone!) Any suggestions well received. Having said that quite a few of our customers came in for that reason , no gilrs asking for drinks etc, even when we had 4 or 5 they were alwayd told to be low key and asking for drinks was taboo. What do you do!

JW does do it right in my opinion. The beer is always cold enough for me. The girls have always been friendly without hassling me for free drinks and a sniff of my wallet. Also it is one of the few bars that I am permitted to drink in, so I can leave with a clear conscience.

That's one of my pet hates I don't go to a place if they ask for lady drinks, if I want to buy a girl a drink I do, you don't see the bar staff asking if they can buy you one, Friday and Saturday I was out and about and did enjoy at least one place with 4 out of 4. Bars are like women they all look the same when you turn them upside down and put the lights out. Sorry ladies, Bars are everyones personal choice a few posters raved about a bar that I checked out and it had nothing hankered back to the old days of three fat birds and dare I even write this, that bloody awful hotel California.
My point was that some owners revamp redecorate and spend money to improve their bars while others do nothing and can't see the wood for the trees.
A bar with customers will get more an empty bar stays empty, the first impression is how it looks the world looking in and the bar looking out as the world goes by.
Jw just pulling your chain have enjoyed a cold one in yours as with the great pool table and music but you have to agree that there is at least one place that has girls on sticks as well as the other 3.
Not familiar with the concept of not being allowed to drink when ever or where ever I want, been married for five years now and the wife only asks where I've been she never gives me a list of places I should not go. Except for the time me and my Thai neighbour went to a well known karaoke/motel on the outside of town and he blabbed, Crossroads it's not.

Hi Tonychang,
nice to hear from old gang, especially Bear is missed from some former stuffs around Soi Binthabaht.
He has been there for a short visit more than 1 year ago, but he seemed to be busy always at that time.
Back to the topic...my favorites are actually:
Paradise Bar - not soooo many girlies, but nice, friendly, and always good for funny times. Prices for drinks are ok.
Aurora Bar (former Silvio's) - from 9.30pm nice freelance girls are sitting on tables in the beer garden and waiting to play pool, and to have other fun with customers. A nice Canadian and his Thai-gf are running the bar. Although the street is very quiet nowadays, you still can have a very good time there.
Celtic Bar - Seems that the atmosphere of the Celtic Bar is coming up a little bit again. The girls are friendlier and more talk active as in the past. A great plus point is in my eyes the chance to get drinks at late night. Prices are still acceptable.
U-Turn, Jack Bar, Romantic Bar, Nice &Easy, P&P, London Lounge, BonBon Bar and especially Crawford's are also worth to enjoy a couple of drinks!

It depends on the time of the day & the time of the year. Last May/June my choices were:
1. The Road Hole Complex -- not as good as the old Road Hole; but still I nice out door place to drink a beer and watch everyone go home around sunset.
2. U-turn
3. Romantic Bar
The last 2 were hussle-free, fun evening bars
