Really? I haven't seen it in the UK for years. I suppose it's a case of knowing what you like, and where to get it.

BB

A real old fashioned butcher will have some but not displayed for sale

Dave at H&B promised me some but it was never forthcoming. When he roasts his joints in effect the gravy is dripping but he uses it for gravy

Pork dripping can be bought in Villa market and I guess you could make your own if you carted a sizable piece of beef fat from the wet market and rendered it in your oven. VM's pork dripping is in fact a german dish and contains gritty crackling, apple and garlic

OK

Remember the wife once asking for a nice beef joint with some fat on. Was told 'sorry ma'am we only have lean'. Wife blew her stack and asked whether he was a butcher or not. He smiled sheepishly and delved around in his back room and came out with a wrapped piece of fat and promptly slapped a sticker on it saying 'no charge'

It's very simple.... it doesn't matter where you are away from the UK. A proper BANGER!! Sorry for the lovers of Cumberland, garlic ones, spicy ones, curry ones, port and cheese ones etc. etc........

I LOVE your basic pork sausage...... !! Come on - where on earth apart from making your own can you get these?

Good fat Walls pork sausages

11 or more years ago there used to be a little Japanese guy ran a cafe next to Bernies bar. Used to go for a good breakfast there but he got moved out. Great eggs, bacon and porkies

Tops supermarkets sell frozen Waitrose pork sausages - but you will have to go to Bangkok for them.
