Don't worry J: Kubota make tractors, so I guess US was having a little bit of a joke about the (alleged) lack of speed/handling of the average Harley. There's always been banter in the UK depending on which bike you ride - Jap. v. British, Harley v. British, Italian v. British. It's all done in jest of course...

Ah ok, I guess that's why I didn't understand. I have a cashier friend that just purchased a crotch rocket that is 150cc, seems like in Thailand that 150cc is a HUGE bike and plenty of power. Seeing as Harley's (excluding Buell) are at least 750cc which would crush most bikes out here in terms of acceleration and handling I guess I didn't get the joke

Buell's from the smallest cc to largest cc bikes, just for general information for all.

1. The Blast was Buell's only model to use a single-cylinder engine. With 492 cc (30.0 cu in) displacement and 360 lb (160 kg) dry weight, it was their smallest model, often used in Harley-Davidson's "Rider's Edge" new rider instruction/riding schools

2. The first XB9 engines had a 985 cc (60.1 cu in) displacement, the later XB12 engines had 1,203 cc (73.4 cu in)

3. Buell also produced a limited series of 50 XBRR (1,339 cc or 81.7 cu in, 150 hp or 110 kW) racing-only machines for factory-backed and privateer racing teams

4.In 2009, Buell announced production of the 1125RR, also a race-only motorcycle

So you can see they go all the way from 492cc right up to 1,339cc, so there is a fair selection

My current Buell is a 2009 XB12s, 1203cc & been very happy with it.
But it is now going up for sale, as new 2014 Ducati 796 Corse Stripe has just been ordered the other week, now the waiting game until it arrives
