Nanny’s Cafe on Soi 88 is by far the best fry up in HH. Lots of different sizes and it’s cooked just like at a greasy spoon. If there is a better one o have not yet found it

I suspect a lot of us have no idea where Hua Hi 99 café or Nanny's café actually are?

I propose a new 'where to get a good English Brekky' map for the forum - that okay with you BB? :D :D :D

American and English breakfasts, as far as I can see are not the same animal. American breakfasts do not include beans for one thing.

There is no real definition of what constitutes an English Breakfast. It can vary from region to region and cafe to cafe. I guess the three main staples are egg, sausage and bacon? After that, it's all down to personal preference. When in the Southern part of the Peak District, you usually get these as part of a cooked brekky - and they're wonderful. But you won't really find them anywhere else.

Most places have good sausages, which suprised me. They are certainly higher quality than the typical greasy spoon English cafe serves.

To answer your question Caller, Nanys is on Soi 88 opposite Baan Khun Por, next to Tesco.(Their Sunday Roast are also to die for)..Hua Hin 99 canbe found on the Soi that starts on the South side of BKP...up a couple of hundred metres, RHS. I can also recommend Nanys breakfast for the same reasons already stated. Morning Bread also good Breakfast.

Guys, unless you want it to remain a forever secret, it might be a good idea to say e.g. Bliss Cafe on Soi 82. Maybe a short description of why it is special for you might encourage others as well.

Mays Cafe all the way up Pala U then left as you were heading into the back way of Soi 112 is a cracking place to have breakfast.

A little out of the way but you’ll be hard pressed to find a better English breakfast in Hua Hin.

Good quality ingredients and cooked very well. 99bht for a standard or 180thb for large.

I appreciate your message. Okay, I know where both Nany's and HH99 are now, thanks.

Having now lived in Thailand for 4-years, I can honestly say that until the other week, I had never eaten a full English anywhere. But on a short trip to Khon Kaen, we went to the Blues Bar, as I think it was called, which opens at 7.30. And I absolutely loved it! So it has inspired me to get out from time to time to sample the local goods. I also have route 88 to check out as well. But do all these places actually open early enough to call it breakfast?
