Seems a bit strange from Australia and does not mention any hospital. As I got Pfizer from Medpark, I did not confirm. has anyone else got such a mail?

Also the Email adresses of all recipients can be read.

I just received the same email from a Kamonchanok Leseananprecha sent from a gmail address. Looks bogus to me too
I likewise have received the email. I confirmed via the URL (mistake #1?) then replied to the email to ask which hospital I should go to tomorrow.

Somebody else on the mail-out has replied 'to all' asking what any of us are doing.

I just called the Foreign Ministry helpline to check. They told me that:
Appointment emails will ONLY be sent from the official expatvac email address
The official email will have a simple confirm button and will NOT need us to complete a new form

Phisching! They'll try anything.

I get the odd mail telling me that my account is about to close unless.......

More often than not I don't have an account they refer to.

You can usually spot this by looking at the underlying mail address. Very often just a name at gmail.

Has anyone received a request for information from kamonchanok.lese@gmail.com and saying you have a Pfizer appointment?

Post by 404cameljockey »

My wife and I registered on https://expatvac.consular.go.th a while back, and she today received the following email. We have had no other communication apart than the initial email confirming our registration was accepted. No Prachuap hospital has been allocated to us so she would not even know where to go tomorrow (could guess at Hua Hin Hospital, but it all seems very strange):

  • Mor Prom - Astra Zeneca
  • Mor Prachuap Prom - Sinovac
  • Hua Hin Municipality - Sinopharm
  • Walk-in - Sinovac (I think)
Then there was routine hospital business, and Mondays are always busy.
Purely FYI (nb NOT complaining!)

that list you typed is just blank on tapatalk(see screenshot)

So I looked it up online, thanks

It's weird how that happens

Anyway, I will go online whenever necessary or directed to, just feeding back

Any word on the 500 max?? I'm concerned that they have already finished by the sounds of the mob this morning!

Someone on here went at 1.30pm last week and said it was a breeze...

Also, do we already know about the next walk in day or has that not been announced yet?

Sent from my M2007J20CT using Tapatalk
Walk-in is 1pm to 3pm. 9th floor car park building. First 500 get it.
Got it. Literally! Thanks

It was pandemonium on 9th floor around 1pm but after 30 mins I was asked to go to 10th floor. Visited a few desks then into the sports hall (?) waited 10 mins, jabbed with shake 'n' vac, waited 30 minutes(observation) then released.

Back on 15th Sept for Vauxhall Astra

I'll deal with the certificate of vaccination then as the posts suggest it's a hot topic

Thanks all for help

Good idea. I'll bet Shopee's servers can handle a whole lot more requests in a short period than the hospital's servers ever could.

Hua Hin Hospital facebook page says taking registrations tomorrow 24th August

Post by 404cameljockey »

The Hua Hin Hospital Facebook page won't open now, probably swamped with hits.
25 minutes ago they posted:

"Tuesday 24 August 2021
Hua Hin Hospital organizes vaccinations
1. Sino Farm (Sinopharm)
2. Pfizer
Registration for queue cards is available on the 9th floor of the Support Building with parking from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m."

I imagine this means first jab Chinese, second Pfizer, but a Thai has been telling me they believe all Pfizer is reserved for foreigners, and the Sino is for Thais. I don't think this is correct but am so confused now who knows.

So back to my original question, has anybody else done it/successfully obtained one?
I’m hoping I’ll get mine on Monday- I’ll let you know if I do!!
And as promised they issued the certificate as a matter of routine - looks a little different than the one issued at HHH, but the information’s the same - and it was free!!Image

After some 8-9 hours since having the AZ vaccine, I’m feeling a lot different than I did with the Sinovac jab and not in a good way. From the jab itself, I hardly felt the needle or vaccine being administered with Sinovac, whereas today, it was definitely a case of “yes I can feel that going in”. Now, if I hadn’t had the jab I’d now be thinking “I feel like I’m coming down with something”, which I know many people have reported. I’m not concerned, just reporting the difference and presumably (hopefully) the AZ vaccine is more effective.

It seems to vary quite a lot with different people. My MIL had no reaction to her first AZ whereas my daughter in the UK had a sore arm and slept for 3 days after the first shot but zero reaction after her second shot.

Looking at the Shopee advert, I notice:
9. It is expected that the hospital will receive the vaccine during January – March 2022.
So not a quick fix.

I think the Sinopharm is already taken for Hua Hin Municipality registered patients. The Pfizer is for the usual wrinkly community + 7 diseases, and available on a first come, first served basis.
