Not tried the Masaman at JohnnyWalkers yet but I'm sure it's tasty like most dishes on offer there.

The best Masaman I've had to date is served at the Pan Din Tong restaurant, on the right just before you get to the flyover. Never been served one that has even come close to this.

You've got me wishing I was sat at the Riverside in Chiang Mai now, love that place.

I'll just have to console myself with the fact I'll be in Hua Hin in 4 days. :D

Have you ever tried the restaurant by the reservoir up on the hill of Thanon Suthep? Kae La or something like that, what a lovely place.

Here we go:
GALAE Garden Restaurant, At the end of Suthep Rd., Tel. 053-278655, 053-811041. Doi Suthep foothill location at edge of a sparkling reservoir. Thai & Northern Thai food and grilled specialties in delightful outdoors.
Or spend an evening at Fine Thanks
Fine Thanks

This oddly named pub is packed with young Thai professionals. Weekends are rocking with live music, sometimes famous Thai bands. The food is dependably good and there are an abundance of sexily clad women in six inch platform boots (kid you not!) taking care of the patrons. 5.30 p.m. - 1 a.m., sometimes later depending on the police! 119 Nimmanhaemin Rd. 053 213605
You´ve just now made me miss Chiang Mai, BaaBaa. I used to live almost opposite from this place in 2004.

A BA employee said, "Many cabin crew like to bring their own meals to eat.
That statement must say something about the food being "served up" on BA flights.

There's a nice little curry house in Cha-am, it's on soi Longbeach.
You can go over the soi between 2 pm and 5 pm and drink at the Nordic bar for 60 baht per litre, order your preferential curry and have it delivered to the table.

Onlyme, only trying to help. :D

Bangkok Bob has an article covering a few Indian Restaurants in Bangkok - unfortunately not too convenient at the end of a night on the beer in HH.

I think they do free delivery to Hua Hin if you spend over 1000 baht.

Will give them a try next time I venture up to Chiang Mai, after the riverside of course.

I can vouch for that too - top stuff, certainly beats any of the town's second rate Indian restaurants, you should start a takeaway there!
