Here we go:
Or spend an evening at Fine ThanksGALAE Garden Restaurant, At the end of Suthep Rd., Tel. 053-278655, 053-811041. Doi Suthep foothill location at edge of a sparkling reservoir. Thai & Northern Thai food and grilled specialties in delightful outdoors.
You´ve just now made me miss Chiang Mai, BaaBaa. I used to live almost opposite from this place in 2004.Fine Thanks
This oddly named pub is packed with young Thai professionals. Weekends are rocking with live music, sometimes famous Thai bands. The food is dependably good and there are an abundance of sexily clad women in six inch platform boots (kid you not!) taking care of the patrons. 5.30 p.m. - 1 a.m., sometimes later depending on the police! 119 Nimmanhaemin Rd. 053 213605

That statement must say something about the food being "served up" on BA flights.A BA employee said, "Many cabin crew like to bring their own meals to eat.
There's a nice little curry house in Cha-am, it's on soi Longbeach.
You can go over the soi between 2 pm and 5 pm and drink at the Nordic bar for 60 baht per litre, order your preferential curry and have it delivered to the table.
Onlyme, only trying to help.

I can vouch for that too - top stuff, certainly beats any of the town's second rate Indian restaurants, you should start a takeaway there!JW wrote:Had a great curry on Saturday, courtesy of Ham and Bacon, Chicken Dansak i think, great sauce and nice hearty chunks of soft chicken. Will be dabbling there again.
