Imagine my disappointment when the small breakfast had just 2 regular sausage, and the big breakfast had 4 regular sausage. It was still the biggest breakfast I've seen in Hua Hin, but Harry's legendary big sausage is no more
I eat at Harry's fairly often, I like breakfast food for lunch. He often is out of something so will sub in a similar item. You may see the big sausage again.

Last time I was in HH I had breakfast several times at the Finnish cafe on Soi94, next to the Boom bar. Not huge but freshly made and v nice. I’ll be back soon.

At Nits today for breakfast.

The sausage was excellent. Smaller length, but larger girth. Lots of flavour. :-)

Mods, I think it's time to close this thread on the grounds of indecent and inappropriate innuendo.
What fft100 chooses to do with Nit's sausage is his or her own business, and should definitely remain so... :tsk:

Actually I was going to comment that I thought Nit's sausages were somewhat longer in length than the originals

Maybe she has one of those special tools!

Hopefully I've got that comment in before the innuendo police arrive! ImageImage

the original sausage(Cumberland) are back at Nits by popular demand for when you take your friend there
I tried the Cumberland today. Yes, I'm a sausage snob, and no I didn't like it. Most definitely not to my taste - too many herbs, not enough meat. However, the bacon more than compensated.

Found a decent breakfast at Yummy Corner corner of Soi 5 Khao Takiab, the one of everything is usually enough and all fresh stuff, real sausages and tasty bacon and BROWN sauce. If you've got a hangover they'll do two of everything for only about 80baht more which seems to be a bit of a no brainer! Coffee is as good as you'll get anywhere that I've tried as well. Nice friendly staff too if you're in the area - great people watching spot too.

Oh they also do an Egg Benedict which I wasn't expecting to find - I would happily sell a kidney for one of those.

You hooked me with Eggs Benedict. I will check it out. Have you had it at Euro Deli yet? It’s fantastic.

Eggs Benedict is a common American breakfast or brunch dish, consisting of two halves of an English muffin, each topped with Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce.
So an American breakfast Infuenced by England, Canada, and France (Poached egg, Hollandaise sauce).... lol

n.b. Hollondaise means 'from Holland' but actually originates in France.

So who claims Eggs Benedict?

Thanks DB. So it appears that there are many 'origins' and any one of them could be true.
But, it seems we'll never really know!

No but I will now, thanks - Love Bread do a range of Egg Benedicts, all of them very good out past the airport on the way to Cha Am. Never understood why they don't open a branch in Hua Hin, they would make fortunes. It's always top quality food in there with lovely staff and fabulous freshly baked bread which is very hard to find in HH if you want good quality.
