When Flight 716 disappears over the Atlantic Ocean, Kendra Malley of the TSIB is selected to lead the team investigating the crash. Still devastated by the recent death of her husband, Kendra isn't sure she's up to the task. However, with the whole world watching, her team must race to find the missing aircraft and rescue possible survivors.
6 x 40 minute episodes. Like all such dramas it has some holes, but it has a few twists and turns and I found it entertaining enough to binge. I'm about to start series 2. Available on PB (series download) and eztv (individual episodes).

Just watched episode 1 as a taster. Worth following to see how it develops. 3 seasons to date.
Perfect to watch on the way to the airport!!!!
Season 2 of 'From' is available for those that have been waiting.
Not tried "Departure" as yet, but "From" was one I was going to add to this thread also - really enjoying it so far. A very decent Thriller/Horror Series that I hope will continue for some time!!

I know this thread is about recommended programmes but let me warn you about one not to watch - the BBC have just aired the first episode of six called Wolf and I thought it was a load of codswallop - I’m sure most 11 year old school children could come up with a more convincing storyline. If anybody else watched it, I’d be interested on your views?

I have just finished this 10 episode psychological drama/thriller.
It's set in New York in 70's about a young man involved in a shooting incident. I won't say any more so as not to spoil it
I thought the overall production and acting were very good indeed.
My only issue is that, like many other drama series, it went on a little too long. Good start and finish but dragged a bit in the middle. Eight episodes would have been better.
