Still devastated by the recent death of her husband, Kendra isn't sure she's up to the task. However, with the whole world watching, her team must race to find the missing aircraft and rescue possible survivors.
6 x 40 minute episodes. Like all such dramas it has some holes, but it has a few twists and turns and I found it entertaining enough to binge. I'm about to start series 2. Available on PB (series download) and eztv (individual episodes).

Seen worse that's for sure!

Not great but not a bad stocking filler this..

Will give season 2 a go too

Thanks

Just watched episode 1 as a taster. Worth following to see how it develops. 3 seasons to date.
Perfect to watch on the way to the airport!!!!

Season 2 of 'From' is available for those that have been waiting.

Not tried "Departure" as yet, but "From" was one I was going to add to this thread also - really enjoying it so far. A very decent Thriller/Horror Series that I hope will continue for some time!! :thumb:

I know this thread is about recommended programmes but let me warn you about one not to watch - the BBC have just aired the first episode of six called Wolf and I thought it was a load of codswallop - I’m sure most 11 year old school children could come up with a more convincing storyline. If anybody else watched it, I’d be interested on your views?

This Guardian review seems to agree with you about episode 1. But then...

HIJACK(2023)

I know some on here started this recently but last night I finished this 7 part airline drama thriller starring Idris Elba.

I must say that for the most part I thought it was very well produced, good acting and strong storyline.

On Apple TV, available in usual places

Recommended 8.5/10.

^^ Only Murders... season 3 should be a little less nerve-wracking for you. Now showing.

THE MOSQUITO COAST (2021)

I have recently completed this series which comprises of two seasons and 17 episodes in total.

It's about an American family who need to leave America quickly as their father is in trouble with the government.

I would say that the production was good, that I enjoyed it mostly and that it's similar to Ozark in a lot of ways.

But the ending was a bit disappointing(as are many series for me)

Stars Justin Theroux(The Leftovers)

7.5/10

The Hunt for Raoul Moat

Follows the police operation in 2010 to apprehend fugitive Raoul Moat. He went to Northumbria after killing one person and wounding two others.

I remember seeing this news story on the tellybox over here. One of the better true crime dramas from ITV. Ep,s 2 and 3 were compelling.

THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT(2023)

I finished this BBC 4 part true crime drama tonight

Very well put together and well worth a watch, albeit a bit 'uncomfortable' at times

8/10

I'm assuming DM has been all over this like a hobo on a ham sandwich already. :D

Just a heads up if it's been missed, first two episodes of Ahsoka are out. Some excellent reviews.

Just watched the first 15 minutes of ep 1, but I was getting overexcited so I've had to switch off and go to bed.

THE CROWDED ROOM(2023)

I have just finished this 10 episode psychological drama/thriller.

It's set in New York in 70's about a young man involved in a shooting incident. I won't say any more so as not to spoil it

I thought the overall production and acting were very good indeed.

My only issue is that, like many other drama series, it went on a little too long. Good start and finish but dragged a bit in the middle. Eight episodes would have been better.

On Apple TV... usual places

8.5/10
