Sancho is the irregularity in all this. I believe, caller, you're paying United 5 million just to take him back after the loan spell
20-25m to sign him.
5m to say thanks, but no thanks.
I suspect we'll sign him. A good squad / impact player, can be so much more, if he put's his mind to it.
It was too comfortable for Sheff Utd. They took their eye of the ball, dropped too deep, lost momentum and we saw the result.
You have to question the manager here. He should have been Mr. motivator and he wasn't. His substitutions showed he was happy to stick and defend their lead. That seemed to be the problem in their final league games as well.
Sunderland will have a stadium full - 49,000 - at every game next season, from a financial point of view, notwithstanding the fact Leeds (37,000) and Burnley (22,000) are still in the parachute payment scheme, Sunderland have the potential to be as big as Newcastle. But they need to spend big and spend well.

We're all Betis supporters tonight surely? Apart from you caller
Betis dont need the help of anyone's support when the Chelsea manager doesn't select his strongest team for a European final!
And it was Gusto, one of those most definitely not part of our strongest team who gave the ball away - the one thing he excels in - that directly led to the Betis goal. And not winning a simple challenge nearly cost us a 2nd seconds ago. Meanwhile, James sits on the bench.
Some strange selections I agree caller. And a tired performance from folk who should be fresh, looking to prove they should be there! If Reece James is match fit I've no idea what he's doing on bench (but it's not often he's match fit).
Sancho to come on and bag a brace to win it!
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Should be pretty easy sailing now, congrats caller! Those in the champions league let us down, could have been a clean sweep of Prem teams in Europe.
Thanks. The manager put right what he got wrong at the start, and after a struggle, we finally got our game together, aided and abetted by Cole Palmers brilliance, sadly, not on show so much recently.
With Chelsea winning, they became the first team in Europe to have won every trophy going. Also meant that, for the very first time, five different teams won silverware in the Premier League this season.
We're moving towards 'everyone gets a trophy for participating'.
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.
A shame, but the man at the helm of Plymouth Argyle, Miron Muslic has decided he's had enough after just 4 months. Like many before him, he'll probably regret leaving one of the most secure jobs he's ever had. His reasons are sound though - to be closer to his family, who he's been away from for 4 years - having worked away from home a lot, I can sympathise.
I guess we'll have to wish him well at German side, Schalke.
Argyle can confirm that we have reluctantly allowed Head Coach Miron Muslic to open talks with a 2. Bundesliga side after he expressed his desire to speak with the German team and not return to England.
Despite regular communication since the end of the season, and no mention of any issues, Miron has now made it clear that, after extended periods away from his family, this opportunity provides him the chance to be closer to them after four years on the road.
We are frustrated by this decision, having implemented clear structures, processes and personnel to aid Miron and his coaching staff as we look to return to the Sky Bet Championship at the earliest opportunity.
Not only that, the club have also moved quickly to bring in new signings and received repeated verbal promises from Miron that he was committed to Argyle and would do everything to help the club bounce back to the second tier.
Muslic joined the Greens in January 2025, on a three-and-a-half-year contract, after a period out of the game having departed Cercle Brugge. He will now leave Argyle just four months into that long-term commitment.
