agree with you on all the points you mentioned.
i would still be wary about buying one of these new builds & the same applies to new build in the uk.
if they are built on unstable foundations with inferior materials (not suggesting they are) problems will arise in the future. this is obviously an issue because you mention it in the checklist.
this is especially relevant if they are built on hillsides, where the movement & potential subsidence factor would create problems a few years down the line.
Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
