Been living here in Thailand since 1988, will turn fifty-two in December. I'm unfortunately part of the dreaded Bangkok weekender crowd .

The other day a young person asked me how I felt about being old. I was taken aback, for I do not think of myself as old. Upon seeing my reaction, she was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question, and I would ponder it, and let her know.

Old Age, I decided, is a gift.
Very, very well said, Big Boy. :D

The only problem with old age, is that you tend to meet up with a lot of old friends, more and more often - at funerals.

I kid you not

I've been to three so far this year and it's becoming a habit.

I'm curious about the grouping on this poll. It is every five years until 60 there you find 60+. That makes that group out of balance with the rest of the poll? That group could be 5 or 6 times the average 5 years of the other groups. How about a age group between 71 and 75 so I can see how many mature middle age people there are. It would not hurt to have a 76-80 and 81-85 group also. Don't want to leave anyone out do we?

:? :? :)
